Position Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Job Duties:

Provide technical support for a federal government acquisition system by providing programming expertise to develop database applications.

Provide subject matter expertise in the Oracle SQL and PL/SQL languages.
-
Adapt, learn, and execute new business processes outside of normal programming experience.
-
Develop and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts.
-
Writing SQL queries for reports development purposes.
-
Analyze requirements and meeting milestone deadlines.
-
Perform data analysis and drawing conclusions from data, database design (ERDs, constraints, etc.).
-
Write stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in the Oracle PL/SQL programming language creating and maintaining all types of database objects (sequences, views, indexes, jobs, etc.).

Develop, refine, and also follow functional and technical requirements unit, integration, regression, and performance testing using complex logic to craft SQL queries and functional procedures and functions tuning, debugging, and updating existing code.

Provide production support of database systems building and troubleshooting web applications using the Appian Business Process Modeling platform using HTML and CSS to display query results.

Undertake customer service desk activities (taking calls, logging tickets, etc.).

Communicate and coordinate across different teams by using solid oral, written, and interpersonal skills as well as putting on presentations.
Job Requirements:
-
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related field; and three years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Applications Developer, Database Developer, Cloud Engineer, Oracle PL/SQL Developer, or in a related IT field.

Prior experience must include one year of special skills in building complex models that govern the flow of data; performing extensive unit and integration testing; Oracle database and its functions and capabilities; Toad Oracle development; understanding of relational databases.

Job Opportunity
Position Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Job Duties:

Analyze, design, test, install, documentation, implement and support complex network solutions in cloud environments (i.e. AWS and Azure).

Implement AWS solutions using EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, EBS, Route 53, ELB and Auto Scaling Groups to achieve a highly available, fault tolerant, secure, elastic and scalable cloud Environment. Build customized AWS Infrastructure for various applications from scratch and establish connectivity between various AWS resources.

Participate in the creation of a DevOps-enabled automated CI/CD solution that delivers tools and processes for rapid application development efforts and on-going production operations.

Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to develop sound automation solutions. Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions to address barriers, enabling forward movement in the application lifecycle.

Working knowledge of Configuration Management (Chef, Puppet or Ansible preferred) Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).

Strong use of Shell scripting languages including BASH for Linux and Mac platforms and PowerShell for Windows systems.

Hands on experience in data processing automation using Python and Ruby.
-
Use Low-level APIs such as the Amazon Web Services API and higher-level abstractions such as Boto, AWS SDK.

Automate the cloud deployments using chef, python, AWS Cloud Formation Templates and Terraform.

Work with Solution Architects to conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and assist in production implementations.
